Somatic Emotional Therapy

Heal deeply trough Body and Heart

When life stops flowing,
We begin by listening to the body

There are moments when life becomes too much—when the body tenses, the heart withdraws, and the system slowly begins to shut down. Burnout, chronic stress, emotional overwhelm, addictions, or unexplained pain aren’t problems to solve ... they are signs that something deeper is asking to be met.

In this therapeutic space, we slow down. We listen — not just with the mind, but with the whole body.

Somatic-Emotional Therapy offers a grounded, body-based approach to healing. It’s not about talking or understanding your way out of pain or pushing toward solutions. It’s about learning to recognise and relate to what the body has been carrying—often for years or even the beginning of our lives. Tension, fatigue, numbness, anxiety, or emotional flooding are all expressions of your system’s attempt to protect itself.

Through a combination of somatic tracking, emotional attunement, and multiple heart- and body connected therapeutic tools, we begin to unwind the layers of overwhelm and disconnection. You’ll be supported in meeting yourself with gentleness and precision—learning how to feel safely again, how to recognize your boundaries, how to restore flow where it has been blocked.

This work does not demand that you be strong, clear, or fixed.
It invites you to be honest, curious, and simply human.

Whether you're in a moment of breakdown or simply seeking to reconnect with your own sense of aliveness, this process creates space for healing to happen—slowly, from the inside out.

What happens

in a session?

Each session begins with presence and listening to what is alive in the moment. There is no fixed agenda. We follow what emerges, guided by what your system is ready to reveal and release.

Depending on what arises, we may work with:

  • Somatic tracking — noticing and following subtle sensations, tensions, numbness, or impulses

  • Inner parts dialogue and discovery — a systemic approach to meeting and understanding the different roles and voices within you

  • Mindfulness - based therapeutic practices — bringing awareness and compassion to what’s unfolding

  • Guided meditations — to support deeper inner contact and nervous system regulation

  • Conscious, heart-connected movement — when verbal expression is limited, the body finds its way to speak

  • Autogenic training — specific techniques to support physical and emotional self-regulation

  • Psycho-spiritual inquiry — to reclaim hidden inner resources and engage with symbolic, archetypal guidance

Sometimes, the work is subtle—just following breath and sensation. Other times, it may move into deeper emotional release. The pace is always attuned to you.

This is not coaching.
While my coaching invites emotional stretching—meeting your edges, expanding your capacity to feel and express—therapy moves at a different rhythm. It slows everything down. It focuses on safety, regulation, and reconnection with parts of you that may be frozen, hidden, or overwhelmed. In therapy, we don’t stretch—we listen. We don’t move forward—we settle inward. It’s not about growth or transformation in the moment, but about restoring a foundation that may have been missing for a long time.

Who

is this for ?

Who

This is for?

This therapy is for those who feel:

  • Burned out or emotionally shut down — feeling flat, numb, or unable to access joy, vitality, or connection

  • Overwhelmed by stress or anxiety — living in hyper-alert mode, struggling to rest, sleep, or let go

  • Stuck in repeating patterns — such as people-pleasing, emotional avoidance, addictions, or losing control during emotional experiences

  • Disconnected from the body — unable to feel clearly, sense boundaries, or stay grounded in challenging moments

  • Living with chronic symptoms — including long-term pain, fatigue, tension, digestive issues, or unexplained physical discomfort

  • Carrying old grief or unresolved trauma — from early experiences, relationships, shock, or emotional neglect

  • In life transition — navigating identity shifts, breakups, loss, parenthood, career changes, or spiritual crisis

  • Longing to reconnect — with the body’s truth, emotional safety, and a sense of inner wholeness

This work is especially suited for those who don’t just want to talk about what’s wrong—but want to gently feel, listen, and shift what’s happening from the inside out.

The Therapeutic

Relationship

At the heart of this work is the relationship between us.

My role is not to analyze from a distance, but to walk alongside you—as a grounded, attuned presence. A companion as you meet yourself more deeply.

Safety, trust, and honest connection are the foundation. Over time, this relationship becomes an anchor—a place where what was once too much can now be met, felt, and gently released.

To support this, you’ll be held not only by me, but within a small, trusted therapeutic network—a circle of experienced professionals I collaborate with. This network allows for adapted follow-up, referrals when needed, and a deeper level of continuity and care. It is part of what makes it possible for your system to truly let go and rest into the work.

If you’d like to know more about how I hold the space—my commitments to safety, confidentiality, accountability, and professional ethics—you can view or download my full Therapeutic Charter here.
